The Grissini Project is an ensemble that stands for an encounter between classical music and pop culture.

For 10 years, leaded by Roman Vaudé, the Grissini Project has settled itself as a versatile ensemble of trained classical musicians versed into pop culture.

Bringing to light unexpected similarities between classical, video game, anime, and film music, the Grissini philosophy is to reveal bridges and connexions between different kind of music and therefore different kind of audiences.

Roman Vaudé

Pianist, organist, leader of the Grissini Project

Roman discovered his vocation for music after listening to a Chopin prelude in the Halo 3 believe trailer. Discovering classical music through the prism of a video game, it's very naturally that he kept an interest for pop culture music through animes, video games and films, while pursuing his studies as a classical musician. His encounter with pop culture and classical music naturally lead to the creation of the Grissini Project, an ensemble he is leading since 2010.

While starting learning music with piano he was quickly introduced to organ and developed a growing interest into the fascinating instrument. Assuming his path as an organist, as a pianist and also as a chamber musician, he graduated from Lyon's conservatoire and left France to Scandinavia in order to pursue his studies and his career. He's graduated from numerous high school and superior conservatories including the Royal Danish Academy of Music, the High School of Music of Malmö, the Royal College of Stockholm and the Edsberg Castle.

Being advised by renown professionals during his studies, he also performs regularly as an organist, pianist and chamber musician all over Europe. He is laureate from Mayenne piano competition and Yamaha Music Fondation. He's also a former shaco otp gold hardstuck, but it's because of the lane diff.




Alice grew up in a rich musical environment and quickly made her desire to sing known. She began by joining a children’s choir at 4 years-old and integrated ''la Maîtrise de l’Opéra de Lyon'' where she took part in Operas such as Mozart's Don Giovanni. ​She continued her vocal training with Claire Marbot and specialized in early and baroque music at the Lyon's national conservatoire (CNSM) in 2013. Working with recognized professionals along her studies, she graduated with distinction in 2018.

Alice is semi-finalist of the Corneille Compétition (Rouen) in 2017 and the Froville Competition in 2019. As of today, she collaborates with several ensembles, with all of which she takes on a vast repertoire, both classical and popular ranging from middle-ages to today.

Alice had her first opera role in 2019 with Oberto in Handel’s Alcina as part of Händelfestspiele in Karlsruhe, Germany. She was directed by Andreas Spering and she was noticed for her voice, qualified as ‘crystalline’ and her acting skills as a young man. Alice was Love in Gluck’s Orpheus and Eurydice in February 2021 in the prestigious Zurich Opera House in Switzerland.


Bastien Vidal


Bastien started playing the violin at the age of 3 in France, at the Institut Musical Suzuki de Lyon, where he also met Marwane. In 2007, after moving with his family to London, he entered the Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama, before coming back to France and integrating the Conservatoire de Lyon in 2011.

After graduating from the conservatoire, he continued his music studies for 5 more years with Virginie Robilliard at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne, in Switzerland. Bastien was a member of the Barbican Youth Orchestra under Sir Colin Davies' conducting from 2008 to 2010, as well as of the Orchestre Français des Jeunes from 2014 to 2016. He also has a bachelor in mathematics from the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, and plays Zerg because he has no honour.


Marwane Champ


Marwane started cello at 4 years old in France in Lyon's Suzuki music school, along with Bastien. Pursuing music as her vocation, she's now graduated in Anne Gastinel's class in Lyon Superior conservatoire of music (CNSM).

She performed often as a soloist with Lyon's Conservatoire orchestra and she has also a very pronounced taste for ensemble music. She's been taking part into the French Youth Orchestra and she's now regularly working as an orchestra musician with Lyon's National Orchestra and Lyon's opera.

She has also such pronounced taste for chamber music and she performs often in various chamber music formations in numerous festival in France and in Europe. Passionate about diversity, she's quite versed into folk music and has a good part of her activities as a baroque cellist. Marwane plays a nordic in Skyrim that she specialized as a fire mage because well, she doesn't care.
